Actually, it's made of Maida (refined wheat flour) which, if eaten regularly or in large quantities, may stick to intestines and can cause digestive problems. Generally happens when the stomach is already empty.
I would discard all the rumors which spread on the Internet like fire in the previous few years. Some of them were-
- Maggie contains plastic
- Maggie contains wax to stick noodles together
- We should throw water in which noodles boil
- It contains some dangerous preservative which changes its state after it gets hot
All these are complete jibber jabber.
Maggie will not cause any harm if eaten less, that is not regularly.
You can always have a packet or two in a week without any fear.
